The town of Putre, is located 149 km from the city of Arica, located at 3,500 meters above sea level and inhabited by approx. 1,300 people. Among the main attractions are imposing mountains, volcanoes and towns where time seems to have stopped, it is a beautiful area to acclimatize and continue discovering the beauty of the high plateau region.
We indicate below the ways of transfer:
By plane (Santiago – Arica – Putre):
There are daily flights from Santiago de Chile to Arica, from where you can follow the section by car or bus. Check the frequencies at the respective airport.
By car (Arica – Putre):
From Arica you must exit through the international highway 11-CH and take the existing detour 5 kms. before putre. The section is completely paved and is, in total, 149 kms. which will take approximately 2 hours and a half.
By bus (Arica – Putre):
There are departures from Arica, from the Rodoviario Bus Terminal, the company "La Paloma", has frequencies every day, at 07:00 a.m. Another option is embarking from Esteban Ríos Avenue # 2140, the company "Gutiérrez", has frequencies on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 06:30 a.m.
By Transfer (Arica – Putre) :

International bus (Alto de Putre Stop):
Many buses with international routes to and from the city of Arica-Chile and La Paz-Bolivia pass through route 11-CH every day, so you must get off on the highway at the place called "Alto de Putre", there there is public transport, for this reason we offer transfer services to our clients, remember that you must notify us well in advance.
